XDI.ORG EGS Global Reserved I-Names

1. Introduction

For the global i-namespace, it is proposed that a very small set of i-names be reserved for purposes of illustration and documentation, just as like "example.com" has been reserved as a DNS name for this purpose.

2. Reserved Global I-Names

Following is a list of the proposed reserved i-names in both the = and @ spaces.

2.1. Notes

  1. The plural of each of these names is also reserved (adding an "s" to any of these)
  2. Disallow i-name strings that contain reserved words only when the reserved word is delimited by either the start or end of a string and dot "." or colon ":"
